Concerned with the increased use of drugs among youth, she was a co-founder of PRIDE Saskatoon to combat the problem and was also instrumental in founding the national organization, PRIDE Canada. Through her dedicated and tireless efforts, branches of the Parent Resources Institute for Drug Education continue to be formed throughout the country, indicating a growing stand against the drug culture in our society.
