For the past twenty-two years, she has brought hope and relief to people suffering from substance abuse. She is founder and director of Amana House, the first long-term recovery home program for women in the Atlantic region, as well as the first retreat for adult children of dysfunctional families. Thanks to her efforts, annual conferences on chemical dependency and recovery have been established in Saint John.
