She has helped improve the quality of life of children in the Yukon community. Since the 1940s, she has opened her home and her arms to more than two hundred homeless youngsters, from toddlers to teens, providing them with food, shelter and, most important, with love. Her generosity, caring and nurturing spirit have changed the life prospects of many children.
