Always concerned for the well-being of her fellow citizens, she has served them in a number of capacities. She has done so as the Mayor of Rocky Mountain House, as a Member of the Alberta Legislature and as the province's twelfth Lieutenant Governor. In addition, she has contributed to Canadian society as a dedicated volunteer with numerous organizations.
