  For her contributions to Indigenous peoples across Canada, particularly for her work to improve funding, access and opportunity for Indigenous youth in the area of education.
  
  Roberta Jamieson has devoted her life to advancing the goals and aspirations of Indigenous peoples across Canada. She is a lawyer, mentor, expert in non-adversarial conflict resolution, former elected chief of the Six Nations of the Grand River
  Territory, and president and CEO of Indspire. In the latter role, she has transformed this Indigenous-led charity, positioning its focus on education for Indigenous youth and working tirelessly to attract public and private sector funding for scholarships and
  bursaries. This has resulted in exceptional graduation results, creating a brighter future for new generations of young people.
  This is a promotion within the Order.
