Now an emergency physician in Vancouver, he spent many years serving the people living in isolated areas of Canada's far North. Former Chief of Staff at Inuvik Regional Hospital, he also set up a private clinic that provides medical experience for native candidates, and is evidence of his long-term commitment to improving health care for the people of the Western Arctic.
