Recently retired as President and General Manager of a radio station in Prince Edward Island, he has supported numerous charitable organizations and sports endeavours over the years. He has always been at the forefront of worthy causes in need of support, especially those on behalf of individuals who have suffered sudden misfortune, and has chaired many campaigns, particularly for the Red Cross.
