One of the key figures in Arts Canada North, the organization established to build the Yukon Arts Centre, he has long supported the artistic, cultural and educational life of the Northwest Territories and the Yukon. His interest in providing learning and job opportunities for young people there, led to a significant donation of telecommunications equipment for Yukon College.
