Throughout a lifetime of volunteer involvement she has worked selflessly to improve conditions for women both within the workforce and in the home. A former President of the National Council of Women of Canada and leader of community service organizations at the provincial and local levels, she has served both as an encouraging example and role model for women of all ages.
