Committed to serving his country, first as a policeman, later as a politician and now as a teacher, he has devoted a working lifetime to improving service to, or creating new opportunities for both his peers and his students. He is also involved with a host of institutions and charities, in which his active participation has visibly contributed to the well-being of others.
