Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia and a Past President of the Canadian Council on Children and Youth, this well-respected neonatologist has made a lifelong contribution to the welfare of children everywhere. He has been actively involved in the areas of medical ethics, fetal medicine, drug-addicted newborns, respiratory pediatrics, children with AIDS and sudden infant death syndrome.
