The first black broadcaster in Canada, he has also worked in film and television production, newspaper publishing and consulting in broadcasting and multiculturalism. He has written extensively on human rights and multiculturalism issues and is a strong advocate for advancing the cause of human rights as the current Chairman of the Alberta Human Rights Commission.
