Her compassion extends to the global community for, although now retired from her full-time family medicine practice in Burnaby, she continues to serve as a relief physician in isolated villages of Nepal. President of the Trans Himalayan Refugee Society, she is a shining example to others in her profession and her selfless commitment to primary health care continues to have an impact on the lives of those less fortunate.
