The first Francophone recipient of the annual Lou Marsh Trophy as best Canadian athlete and a member of the Hall of Fame, he is known for his contributions to the sport of running, in which he is still active. Presently head of public relations for the Quebec Mini-Loto racing circuit and advisor to young athletes and various social organizations, he continues to inspire the spirit of excellent in his fellow Canadians.
