As the Director of Nursing at the Charles Camsell Hospital for more than two decades, she has contributed much to the quality of nursing care offered to northern and western Canadians, natives and non-natives alike. Since her retirement she has continued to demonstrate a concern for others and an interest in commemorating the region's medical history.
