Former Chief Justice of Ontario and a former Justice of the Court of Appeal, this legal scholar was also a lecturer at Osgoode Hall and a partner in a law firm for more than thirty-five years. During his distinguished career he was an advocate of cooperation among all levels of the judiciary in order to improve the administration of justice. He has also maintained a strong commitment to the arts throughout his life.
