Founder of the first French-language weekly newspaper for the minority Francophone population of New Brunswick, she also helped to found the "Associaion de la Presse francophon hors Québec". She served two terms as President of the Campbellton Chamber of Commerce and remains active in several organizaions, including the "Fédération des Dames d'Acadie", an association of Francophone women from New Brunswick.
