In charge of the largest French-language daily in the Americas for more than fifteen years, he works regularly with foreign media for the International Federation of Newspaper Publishers and maintains essential ties with institutions and organizations around the world. In addition to this career, he continues to do volunteer work for various cultural and charitable institutions. He chairs the boards of the Montreal Opera and the Société de la Place des Arts and recently received the B'Nai Brith foundation's prestigious Award of Merit for his exceptional contribution to society. This is a promotion within the Order.

Over the years this Montrealer, hwo is highly respected in the field of communications, has continued to seek out new challenges, in particular with various cultural and humanitarian organizations such as the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the United Way, the "Fondation des jeunesses musicales" and the Montréal Opera. He was also the first Canadian to receive the "Grande Médaille de Vermeil" of the City of Paris for his contribution to the promotion of the French language. (This is a promotion within the Order).
