Dr. Pavel Hamet has been the driving force behind the development of new treatments for cardiometabolic diseases. Internationally renowned for his research on high blood pressure and diabetes, he has shown decisive leadership, notably as founder of the Centre de recherche du Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal, and as the Canada Research Chair in Predictive Genomics of Hypertension and Cardiovascular Disease.
