Recently retired as Executive Secretary of Canadian Lutheran World Relief, he has devoted a lifetime of service to refugees, the poor of the Third World and the needy at home. An ambassador of goodwill and international cooperation, he has successfully challenged Canadians to respond to the needs of people in developing countries.
