Mary Pat ArmstrongÆs visionary leadership has improved the lives of those facing adversity. Over 30 years ago, she helped establish CanadaÆs first Ronald McDonald House and, subsequently, Camp Oochigeas, a camp for children with cancer. Later, she became a dedicated volunteer with Community Living Toronto, where she spearheaded the creation of LIGHTS, which promotes independent living for people with intellectual disabilities. Her contributions have offered the hope of a brighter future to many individuals and their families.
