    Mary Pat Armstrong, C.M. Toronto, Ontario Mary Pat Armstrong’s visionary leadership has improved the lives of those facing adversity. Over 30 years ago, she helped establish Canada’s first Ronald McDonald House and, subsequently, Camp Oochigeas, a camp for children with cancer. Later, she became a dedicated volunteer with Community Living Toronto, where she spearheaded the creation of LIGHTS, which promotes independent living for people with intellectual disabilities. Her contributions have offered the hope of a brighter future to many individuals and their families.
