An occupational therapist, she has devoted her life to the social rehabilitation of ex-psychiatric patients, persons with physical handicaps and the unemployed through the teaching of professional-quality creative skills at craft workshops. From New York to Toronto to the present "l'Atelier d'artisanat" in Montreal, she has displayed unwavering determination, despite the lack of financial support, to redeem the self-confidence of the disabled and to restore their dignity and pride.
