Former Professor in the Department of Animal and Poultry Science at the University of Saskatchewan, he is respected by students, colleagues and farmers, both in Canada and overseas. His dedication and participation in the productive improvement of one of our most important industries has been a source of inspiration and encouragement to all those working in the field. Because of his deep commitment to peace and agriculture, he is recognized as an active proponent of the principle of "beating swords into ploughshares".
