During her long and remarkable career with the federal Department of Agriculture, this professional home economist endeavoured to popularize Canadian nutritional standards and promote the consumption of home-grown agricultural products. She later pursued her work on behalf of Canadian consumers by serving, among other things, as Vice-President of the Salon international de l'agriculture et de 1'alimentation de Montréal.
