As Chief and Band Councillor, he led the Old Crow People with intelligence, dedication and confidence during a period when they were confronted with a number of major social and politicalissues. He is an astute and learned man whose eloquence, experience and commitment arei nvaluable to the linguists, anthropologists and others whom he has assisted for over forty years in documenting the language, human and geologic history and biology of the northern Yukon.
