Few persons are as active in such a broad range of community services as she. Beyond her own determined efforts on behalf of women's organizations, the psychiatrically handicapped, and a variety of worthy causes at the cutting edge of our political, environmental and cultural lives, she has encouraged hundreds of people to become actively involved in one community endeavour or another to the benefit of all.
