Age has not halted her caring and compassion for others and her life has been one of service to humanity both overseas and at home. A nutritional expert, she played a prominent role in the medical history of China as a teacher of physicians and dentists, and her research ultimately saved countless lives which would have otherwise been lost through malnutrition. She was also responsible for developing a formula that is still fed to panda bears in captivity to ensure their survival.
