For over a decade, she was Canada's premier woman downhill skier, winning six World Cup victories and three National Downhill titles in her eleven years on the National Ski Team. Through all the years of grueling, top-level international competition, she served gracefully as an unofficial Canadian ambassador to the sports world and as a much-respected role model and mentor to younger athletes.
