As the first United Church "street chaplain" in Ottawa, he has worked with criminals and alcoholics. But he is most notable as the initiator of Operation Go Home, a communications network which began in Ottawa and now stretches across Canada. Through it, countless numbers of runaway young people have been reunited with their parents.
