Medical director for Quebec City's Hôpital du St-Sacrement for 35 years. In recognition of his illustrious record of service to his profession, in particular as the first French-Canadian president of the Canadian Medical Association, national president of the Canadian Cancer Society and President of the Canadian Forces Medical Association. He is also being honoured for his tireless efforts on behalf of the underprivileged.
