He is one of Canada's leading policemen. After twenty years of service in the Armed Forces he joined the Ontario Provincial Police and later headed the police of Haileybury and Gananoque. His vast knowledge of criminology is now put to wider use in his teaching at the Atlantic Police Academy in Charlottetown. His desire to help others has also led him into service in St John's Ambulance, youth work and municipal affairs.
