She is a leading figure in speech therapy and audiology. One of the architects of the first Canadian program at the master's level at the Université de Montréal, she has also set up many speech therapy and audiology services throughout Quebec. She helped to create an order for her profession in which she continues to be an active member. An award has been established in the name of this exceptional woman, who has devoted herself to developing her profession and to helping thousands of people overcome their communication difficulties.
