Forced by ill-health to retire some five years ago to Azilda, Ontario, Mr. McAllister turned his energy to shipping plane-loads of used medical equipment and books to St. Lucia in the Caribbean. Through his efforts, service clubs have joined in to extend the service to other parts of the Americas in need of hospital facilities; the venture has also received the support of CIDA and the Canadian Forces.
