Louise Forand-Samson is a pillar of Quebec’s musical life. A pianist by training, she is especially well known as an extraordinary concert and recital organizer. For nearly 40 years, she held the reins of the Club musical de Québec as artistic director, making it a premiere destination for the world’s most renowned instrumentalists and singers. She also breathed new life into the Festival international de Lanaudière as its artistic co-director and taught at the Conservatoire de musique de Québec for several years. In addition, she is an engaged volunteer, who provides support to patients undergoing treatment for morbid obesity in Quebec.
