He helped to build one of Canada's leading capital investment firms, RBC Dominion Securities, into an emerging force in the competitive world of global banking. Joining the company in the late 1950s, he rose through the ranks to hold the office of President, Chief Executive Officer and now Chairman. His record of community service is varied and sustained, and includes many successful fundraising campaigns. The Princess Margaret Hospital, McMaster University and Toronto's United Way campaigns have all benefited from his skill, expertise and boundless energy.
