A lifelong mountaineer and explorer, he is a champion of our unspoiled Canadian wilderness and a legend in the climbing community. His extraordinary feats in the coastal ranges of British Columbia were driven not by numbers of ascents or the extent of the area explored, but by his love of the land and his deep respect for its wonders and challenges. Further, through countless presentations and the creation of educational youth programs in his province, he has inspired others to experience the mountains and preserve this natural heritage for future generations.
