She is known as a generous philanthropist and a determined community activist. She has held leadership roles in a variety of organizations, assisting with strategic planning as well as front line, hands-on work. Her achievements include helping to raise more than 2 million dollars for London's Grand Theatre and significantly increasing donations for the area's United Way. In addition, the Art Gallery of Ontario, the University of Western Ontario Alumni Association, the Parkwood Hospital and the London Community Foundation have all benefited from her dedication.
