Following a prosperous career as a lawyer and businessman, he has become one of our leading health care philanthropists. His belief that success brings with it a golden opportunity to share with those less fortunate than ourselves has driven him to support several institutions focused on biomedical research and life sciences. He is also a constant presence at the University of Toronto and at St. Michael’s Hospital, and remains strongly committed to funding medical education and clinical care.
