Her passion for and dedication to equality and cultural diversity are unreserved. She was one of the first women to have given a voice to the Asian community and visibility within numerous organizations and advisory committees. She founded the Chinese Family Service of Greater Montreal and the Centre Sino-Québec de la Rive-Sud, within which she set up innovative programs and services. Her efforts included negotiations with government and industry to establish Francisation en milieu de travail to enable women to learn French during working hours. Very active on numerous boards, she is also a much sought-after speaker.
