He has worked tirelessly to advance the mineral exploration and development industry in Ontario and Canada. A former director and president of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, he is Honorary Chairman of the Discover Abitibi Project --- a major initiative to support and revitalize the mining industry. A legendary prospector and one of the founders of the Helmo Gold Camp in northern Ontario, he has shared his success with the community through his generous benefactions to the Timmins and District Hospital.
