Michel Dumont has been a constant presence in theatre, on television and on the big screen for several decades. Through his portrayal on stage of characters from great classics and his performances in modern roles on television and in film, he draws his audiences into the emotion and action. Artistic director of the Théâtre Duceppe for nearly 30 years, he has distinguished himself as a tireless promoter of Quebec playwrights, enriching the country’s cultural life. He is also actively involved in charitable endeavours, notably the Société Alzheimer Rive-Sud.
