John Rae, the executive vice-president of Power Corporation of Canada, is highly respected for his visionary leadership. During the course of his 35-year career, he has served on several boards and committees. Notably, he has been a member of the board of trustees of Queen's University since 1994 and is currently completing a five-year mandate as chair. During his tenure, he has co-chaired the Cabinet committee responsible for the highly successful Campaign for Queen's. Known for forging connections between stakeholder groups in the public sector and citizens in the broader community, he holds the chairmanship of the McGill University Health Centre's Best Care for Life capital campaign.
