For almost three decades, he has been the creative force behind the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. He transformed the Gallery from a small local operation into an internationally renowned institution. Striving to provide greater accessibility to the arts, he also inaugurated a branch of the Gallery in Yarmouth. In addition, he has led touring exhibitions of Atlantic art, bringing a greater awareness of Canadian culture to national and international audiences.
