Since his arrival in Canada during the 1960s, this respected retired businessman has raised funds for a variety of charitable endeavours. In particular, he is the volunteer organizer of The John Brooks Community Foundation and Scholarship Fund which recognizes high-school students for academic, artistic or athletic excellence.
