The description of Mrs. Campbell as "one of a kind" is borne out in her life. After practising law she entered civic government in Toronto, then became a judge of Family Court. In the Ontario Legislature she was Opposition critic of justice and community and social services. Throughout, her special devotion has been to the poor, the handicapped and women victims of violence.
