A Montreal engineer, Mr. Beaudet was the director of the Port of Montreal for a quarter of a century. Under his masterful leadership, it became a major international port open to navigation on a year-round basis. Among his accomplishments, he was responsible for the choice and design of the islands for the 1967 Montreal World Fair site.
