    Mr. Decore was elected Mayor of Edmonton, a post well earned by his work over the years as lawyer, alderman and director of healthcare and community projects. His services to the Ukrainian community and to the cause of multiculturalism are many, including promotion of Ukrainian studies, chairmanship of the Canadian Multicultural Council and the inclusion of multiculturalism in civic policy.
