This Chicoutimi surgeon, who chose to put his considerable medical talents to work for the members of his community, was chief of general surgery at Chicoutimi Hospital for a quarter of a century. His influence on the international scene has also left its mark on the community: he worked tirelessly for the International College of Surgeons as well as a variety of medical associations.
