An energetic and dynamic businessman from the Beauce region, he founded and became, in 1973, president and general manager of Canam-Manac Inc., a management company located in St-Georges, Québec. Former director of the Industrial Research Centre of Québec and director of the Maritime Life Assurance Company, the National Bank of Canada and Hydro-Québec, he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Institute of Steel construction, and is also active in community activities in the Beauce region.
