A Torontonian, originally from Alberta, this metallurgical engineer is Chairman of Co-Steel International Limited, a company formed from two of his many highly successful ventures, Premier Steel Mills and Lake Ontario Steel Company Limited, begun by him in the 1950s and 1960s. He is renowned world-wide as a founder and developer of major steelmaking organizations and as a highly skilled engineer and scientist.
